Iran Foreign Minister, Mohammad Javad Zarif

In separate letters, Iran's Foreign Minister congratulated the fourteenth anniversary of Resistance Front's victory in the 33-day war of the Israeli regime against Lebanon to his Lebanese counterpart and Hezbollah's Secretary-General.

Iran Press/Middle East: On the occasion of the fourteenth anniversary of Resistance Front's victory in the 33-day war of the Israeli regime against Lebanon, Mohammad Javad Zarif congratulated the occasion to his Lebanese counterpart Charbel Wehbeh and Hezbollah's Secretary-General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah.

Mohammad Javad Zarif arrived in Beirut Thursday night to meet with Lebanese officials as well as to express Iran's solidarity and empathy with the Lebanese people and government after Beirut's disastrous blast. He was welcomed by his Lebanese counterpart, Charbel Wehbe.

Zarif is set to meet with top Lebanese officials to discuss the latest developments in Lebanon after the recent deadly explosion in Beirut.

The blast has so far killed more than 170 people and injured over 6,000, according to the Lebanese Ministry of Health.
