Iran Press/ Middle East: Spokesman for the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), Fawzi Barhoum said the aim of the Zionist regime's attacks on the Gaza Strip was to convey its internal crisis to the Palestinian people and to divert the world's attention from the dire political events and situation inside occupied territories.
In response to last night's Israeli attacks on the east of Khan Yunis, Hamas spokesman Fawzi Barhoum stressed on Monday that the resistance forces were well aware of the nature of the Israeli plans and ideas and how to deal with it.
Barhoum stated that the resistance policy against the Zionist will continue to be in harmony with the situation of the Palestinian people's struggle.
On Sunday night, Israeli warplanes bombed an area in the Abu Hadaf neighborhood east of al-Qararah- east of Khan Yunis, and an area in Rafah, south of the Gaza Strip.
A spokesman for the Israeli army Avichay Adraee in a statement claimed that Sunday night's attacks were in response to rocket fire from the Gaza Strip.
The spokesman for the Israeli army claimed that the army considered any anti-Tel Aviv operation dangerous and blamed Hamas for the attack on Israel.
In recent months, the Zionist fighters, helicopters, drones, and artillery have repeatedly targeted various areas of the Gaza Strip.
Yet there were no reports of injuries or damages.
Since December 2017, the Zionist regime has put a new round of airstrikes on the Gaza Strip. These attacks are always carried out under false pretenses.
Thousands of Palestinians have been killed and injured in Israeli attacks on the Gaza Strip.
The Gaza Strip has been under an Israeli land, air, and sea siege since 2006, and residents of the strip face many problems.
