Iran Press/Middle East: According to the Al-Mayadin news network, Al-Houthi also called on the Yemeni people to fully support the war effort, both financially and militarily, adding that the process of sending troops to the fronts must be active and strong.
In another part of his remarks, Ansarullah leader discussed the coronavirus in Yemen and called for appropriate measures to be taken to prevent the spread of the disease.
In a meeting in Geneva on Friday, UN Spokesman for Humanitarian Affairs Jens Laerke called for the immediate reception of sufficient financial resources to help fight the spread of coronavirus in Yemen.
"According to Yemeni aid agencies, Yemen is on the brink of a spread of Corona and a worrying situation has arisen," Laerke said.
"These organizations have described the shortcomings of the healthcare system in Yemen as dangerous. In some cases, relief organizations have been forced to reduce their activities due to a lack of facilities, including protective equipment," he said.
The Saudi coalition continues its attacks on Yemen, while it declared the start of a unilateral ceasefire in Yemen on April 9.
The United Nations Development Program (UNDP) in a report on Monday announced that Yemen has lost 21 years of development due to the ongoing war.
International organizations have repeatedly warned of the danger of a humanitarian catastrophe as the result of 5 years of consecutive Saudi-led imposed War and with the outbreak of the coronavirus in Yemen due to the country's poor network infrastructure.
Saudi Arabia and a number of its regional allies launched the devastating war on Yemen in March 2015 in order to bring the country’s former president Abd Rabbuh Mansur Hadi back to power and crush the Ansarullah movement.
Over 100,000 people have been killed and more than 3.5 million people have been internally displaced since the war began.
Over 24 million Yemenis need aid, and 10 million are facing famine.
UN has described Yemen as the world's biggest humanitarian crisis.
