Iran Press/ Europe: During a joint press conference with Speaker of the Russian Duma, Vyacheslav Volodin, Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf said: "The most important issue in this visit was the message of the Leader of Iran's Islamic Revolution to President of Russia Vladimir Putin.
"The message highlights the strength, strategy, and continuation of Iran-Russia relations, and no unilateral views and political changes in the world will affect this relationship," Iran's Parliament Speaker said.
He said that bilateral, regional, global, and common issues were discussed during the meeting.
Ghalibaf added: "Iran and Russia have a lot in common on regional issues and peace in the region, where new decisions and structures are required."
He went on to say: "Tehran and Moscow also have common issues on regional and global security and the fight against cruel sanctions on the two countries."
"In today's meeting, the two sides agreed that in the spring, the third joint commission of the Iranian and Russian parliaments will be held in Tehran, and we will host the speaker of the Russian Duma," Ghalibaf noted.
In the end, Ghalibaf underscored: "We hope this trip will be the beginning of a new development in political, economic, scientific and cultural discussions between the two countries, and we will see the attraction of investments.”
