Iran Press/ Iran News: Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, made the remarks on Friday, the International Quds Day.
He said the issue of Palestine is still the most important and living common issue of the Islamic Ummah.
"The policies of the cruel capitalist system have cut off the hand of a nation from its home, from its homeland and ancestral land, and have established a terrorist regime and foreign people in the region," Ayatollah Khamenei noted.
"What is weaker and more baseless than the empty logic of the establishment of the Zionist regime?" the Leader asked.
"The Europeans, by their own claim, have oppressed the Jews, so they must take revenge by displacing a nation and committing a heinous massacre in that country. This is the logic that the Western countries have relied on, thus spreading all their false claims about human rights and democracy," he added.
"The Zionists have turned occupied Palestine into a terrorist base. Israel is not a country but a terrorist base against Muslim nations," Ayatollah Khamenei said.
"Fighting this cruel regime is fighting oppression and terrorism, and this is a public duty," he stressed.
"Although the usurper government was established in 1948, preparations for this sensitive region in the Islamic region had begun years earlier. These years coincide with the West's intervention in Islamic countries to make blind secularism and nationalism rule and to put in power the dictatorial regimes," the Leader of the Islamic Revolution noted.
"The study of those years reveals the bitter truth that the weakness and division of the Islamic Ummah led to the usurpation of Palestine," he added.
"It is instructive that at that time, both the camps of capitalism and communism were united with the Zionists. Britain plotted the conspiracy, and the Zionist capitalists carried it out with money and weapons, and the Soviet Union was the first government to recognize the establishment of the illegitimate Zionist state and send large numbers of Jews there," Ayatollah Khamenei said.
"The usurping regime was the product of that situation in the Islamic world on the one hand and this European aggression on the other," he noted.
"Today, the world is no longer the same as it was then. We must always keep this fact in mind. Today, the balance of power has changed in favor of the Islamic world," said the Leader.
"Various political and social events in Europe and the United States have exposed the West's profound managerial and moral weaknesses to the world," he added.
"The election cases in the United States and the scandalous test of its arrogant executives and the failed one-year confrontation with the pandemic corona in the United States and Europe and its embarrassing margins and political and social turmoil in European countries, show the decline of the Western camp," Ayatollah Khamenei reminded.
"On the other hand, the growth of the resistance forces in the most sensitive Islamic areas, the growth of their defensive and offensive capabilities, the growth of self-awareness and hope in Muslim nations, the growth of tendency in Quranic slogans, the growth of science and self-reliance are blessed signs that promise a better future," he said.
"In this blessed future, the integration of Muslim countries should be a major goal, and this is not far off," the Leader emphasized.
"At the heart of this increase is the issue of Palestine, which means "the whole country" and the fate of the Holy Quds. This is the truth that led the enlightened heart of Imam Khomeini, may God have mercy on him, to announce the International Quds Day on the last Friday of the holy month of Ramadan," he added.
"The synergy of Muslims on the axis of Holy Quds is the nightmare of the Zionist enemy and its American and European supporters. The failed plan of "The Deal of the Century" and then the attempt to normalize relations by a few weak states are attempts to get rid of that nightmare. I firmly say that these moves will not get anywhere," Ayatollah Khamenei said.
"The downward and declining movement of the Zionist enemy regime has begun and will not stop. Two important factors determine the future. The first and most important is the continuation of the resistance inside the Palestinian territories and the continuation of the line of martyrdom, and the second is the support of all nations for Palestine," he noted.
The Leader of the Islamic Revolution further addressed all governments, intellectuals, religious scholars, parties and groups, and zealous youth, stressing: "We must find their place and play a role in this global movement. This is what nullifies the enemy's conspiracy and creates an apocalyptic example of God's promise."
