Syria (IP) - The Israeli regime fighters bombarded a part of Damascus, the capital of Syria, on Sunday early morning.

Iran PressMiddle East: The Syrian state news agency SANA reported heavy explosion sounds heard in Damascus sky, announcing that the army air defense systems intercepted the fighters. 

The Israeli fighters fired missiles hitting a building in Kafar Souseh, a municipality and neighborhood in southwestern Damascus. 

SANA reported several people either lost their lives or were injured in the air raid; meanwhile, the Israeli newspaper Yediot Aharonot announced the number of casualties left by the regime's attack 8 to 9 people. 

 

At the same time, some sources reported the Israeli bombers hitting a Tal al-Masih radar site of the Syrian Army. 

The Israeli regime's raids on Syria came as the country's people were coping with the earthquake that hit the north of the country and the lack of humanitarian aid due to the US sanctions on the Syrian nation.
