West Bank (IP) – Israeli settlers, under the protection of occupation forces, stormed several Palestinian villages in the occupied West Bank late Monday, setting fire to homes, farms, and vehicles, according to local Palestinian media.

Iran Press/West Asia: The violent attacks targeted the villages of Turmus Ayya, Tuqu', Hajjah, Fara'ata, al-Funduq, and Immatain, sparking renewed outrage among Palestinians.

Ahead of the raids, far-right Israeli social media groups circulated calls urging settlers to join rampages against Palestinian communities. The violence went unimpeded.

“Once again, the army is doing nothing to prevent settler violence. This time, too, the writing was on the wall, and notices calling for riots in the villages were distributed publicly among settlers,” said Yesh Din rights organization, in a statement condemning the attacks.

The surge in settler attacks follows a dramatic escalation in violence across the occupied territories. Since October 7, 2023, when the Israeli regime launched its genocidal campaign on Gaza, settler violence in the West Bank has intensified significantly.

Israeli airstrikes and ground aggressions in Gaza have killed at least 45,854 Palestinians, most of them women and children, and injured over 109,000 others, according to Palestinian health officials.
