The start of Nowruz is at the beginning of spring season. Nowruz has been celebrated in Iran, Afghanistan, Tajikistan, the regions of the Balkans, the Black Sea basin, the Caucasus, the Middle East and Central Asia for over 3,000 years, according to the United Nations.
