Iran Press/ Iran News: ShadX, a team of Iranian BS students, succeeded in winning third place in the 2021-2022 contest for designing light aircraft by building LyreBird.
The UK and Italy's teams respectively stood the first and second places, the members of which were Ph.D. students.
ShadX was the only team in the competitions whose members were all BS students.
The Iranian team previously won first place in aircraft design at the American International Aeronautics and Astronautics Competition (AIAA) in 2018-2019.
