According to Iran press News Agency, the funeral ceremony of 23 newly discovered martyrs of the holy defense period was carried out in the operational area of the northwestern Iran.
To hold this ritual, the people of Urmia had gathered in the Revolution Square and the starting place of the burial ceremony of the martyrs of the holy defense era.
In this passionate presence, old and young, men and women, children and adults participate in order to announce to the world that the people of Iran, especially the people of West Azerbaijan, continue to adhere to the ideals of the martyrs by following the orders of the Supreme Leader. They are taking steps towards the ever-increasing elevation of the holy system of the Islamic Republic.
Meanwhile, a large number of families of martyrs, veterans, were also present.
West Azerbaijan, which has hosted 23 martyrs of the Holy Defense era since yesterday (Wednesday), saw off the high-ranking martyrs today in a grand ceremony.
The bodies of these martyrs will be transferred to Tehran.
