Iran Press/ Iran news: Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian and his Dutch counterpart Hanke Bruins Slot held a phone conversation where they discussed the latest regional developments, especially the situation in Palestine and bilateral relations.
In the conversation, Amir-Abdollahian touched upon the potential for enhancing mutual ties, highlighting the significance of staying on the path of dialog and cooperation between the two countries at different levels.
The top Iranian diplomat referred to the Israeli regime’s terror attack on Iran’s embassy in Damascus, adding, “The United States, the UK and France blocked the release of even a single statement in condemnation of the blatant violation of international regulations and conventions.”
Amir-Abdollahian said the way out of the chaotic situation in the region is to end the genocide in Gaza, stressing, “If the international community fails to keep the Israeli regime from continuing its war crimes, it will be to everyone’s detriment.”
The top Dutch diplomat, for her part, touched upon potentialities for cooperation between the two countries and underscored the key status of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
She urged restraint on the part of Iran to help promote peace and stability in the region.
She said the spread of the sphere of war will be in no one’s interests, and accordingly, the Netherlands urges all sides to help ease tensions. 219
