(IP)- The third day of the Asian 2023 ITF Asian 14 and Under Junior Championships, hosted by Cambodia, was followed by the victory of the Iranian athlete.

Iran PressAsia: Iranian athletes faced their opponents on the third day of the competition.

In the boys' section, Sam Attaran won 4-6 and 4-6 against the Singapore tennis player.

Daniyal Moshtaghifard fell short against Pakistan's tennis player with 5-7 and 0-6.

Kiarash Sadeghi lost to the South Korean tennis player with 2-6 and 1-6.

Ali Taghizadeh lost the game with 0-6 and 2-6 against his opponent from Hong Kong.

In the girls' section, Hana Shabanpour lost to her opponent from Kazakhstan with 6-7 and 2-6.

Ailin Mohammadian-Fard lost to a tennis player from India by 2-6 and 1-6.

Iran, Pakistan, Singapore, Malaysia, South Korea, India, Philippines, Turkmenistan, Hong Kong, and Cambodia participated in the competition.  

The tournament, hosted by Cambodia, will be held from September 2 to 9. 

Iran's team had six representatives at the tournament for the first time.
