In a stark condemnation of recent actions by the Zionist regime, Iran's acting Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ali Bagheri kani, declared that Iran would exercise its right to retaliate following the assassination of Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh and the violation of Iranian territorial integrity.

Iran Press/Iran news: During a series of diplomatic discussions, including with Oman's Foreign Minister Badr bin Hamad al-Busaidi, Bagheri underscored the severity of the situation, highlighting the threat to regional stability and calling for an emergency meeting of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation to address the crisis.

The Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs stated, "The Zionist regime, by violating Iran's territorial integrity and national security, has posed serious threats to regional stability and security. Therefore, Iran will exercise its inherent and legitimate right to take reciprocal action and impose severe punishment on the Zionist regime.

Bagheri added that in this context, the Islamic Republic of Iran has called for an emergency meeting of the foreign ministers of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation to address this blatant act of terrorism and the violation of Iran's territorial integrity and national security.

Badr bin Hamad al-Busaidi, the Foreign Minister of the Sultanate of Oman, also condemned the assassination of the head of the political bureau of the Hamas movement and the Zionist regime's actions against the territorial integrity of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Al-Busaidi emphasized that Ismail Haniyeh was at the forefront of the resistance against aggression and occupation in the region and had made significant efforts to stop the Zionists' genocide in Gaza. He also stressed that the Zionist regime must end its occupation, and those responsible for this crime must be punished.

The Foreign Minister of the Sultanate of Oman concluded by saying that Oman welcomes the proposal to hold a meeting of the foreign ministers of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation and hopes that the meeting will be held as soon as possible.
