The head of the Central Bank of Iran said that the country intends to become a member and shareholder of the New Development Bank established by BRICS.

Therefore, we hope that the mentioned bank will play this role for BRICS member countries and we intend to become a member and shareholder of this bank.

Pointing out that very good financial and monetary agreements were reached in the second meeting of the heads of central banks of the BRICS member countries, he clarified: "Iran made good agreements with the Russian central bank during the period when Russia was the BRICS secretary, and We had good agreements regarding the connection of card networks and financial and monetary cooperation, all of which we raised in BRICS.

According to Farzin, Iran, China, and Russia emphasize trade with domestic currencies.
