Iran scores 694 COVID deaths in 24 hrs

Tehran (IP) – Iran's Health Ministry announced on Thursday that COVID-19 had taken 694 lives during the past 24 hours, bringing the total death toll to 104,716.

Iran PressIran News: According to definitive laboratory findings from yesterday to August 26, 2021, On Thursday 4,833,135 people in the country have contracted COVID-19, and 4,053,022 of the total infected people recovered.

Newly diagnosed patients with COVID-19 were 36,758 cases, out of whom 4,940 patients were hospitalized.

7,788 COVID-19 patients are in intensive care units (ICU).

So far, 28,330,070 COVID-19 diagnosis tests have been conducted across Iran.

According to the latest analysis, 359 cities are red, 59 are orange, and 30 are yellow zones.

So far, 17,772,252 people have received the first dose of the COVID vaccine, 7,150,303 people have received the second dose, and the total number of vaccines injected in the country reached 24,922,555 doses.
