Tehran(IP)- Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi stated that the conflict in Palestine is no longer a problem only for the Islamic Ummah, but it has become the top priority of the International community.

Iran PressIran news: Iran's President Ebrahim Raisi, at the first international conference on the Al-Aqsa Flood and the Awakening of Human Conscience, which started in Tehran Saturday morning stated that the idea behind forming the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought is to improve the level of familiarity between religions and the scholars in different sects with each other, and one of the Forum is to promote the mutual respect of religions towards each other, and one of the other functions is to strengthen the brotherhood between the Islamic Ummah.

Ebrahim Raisi stated that the most important issue of the Islamic Ummah today is the issue of Palestine. He added that Imam Khomeini, the late founder of the Islamic Republic of Iran, emphasized that Palestine is the first issue of the Islamic world, and the liberation of Quds has priority in the Islamic world, and this meeting is to deal with the most important issue of the Islamic world, namely Palestine.

The President considered resistance the solution to the Palestinian issue and noted that if the oppressive powers do not accept logic and negotiation, the only logic against them is resistance. Today, the winner of the Al-Aqsa Flood operation is Palestine, and the loser of this ground is the Zionist regime and its supporters. We must consider the issue of Palestine as usurpation and oppression of Palestinians in the past 75 years. Although the West Bank is not armed, more than 200 people have been martyred in this area recently.

Referring to the fact that the politics of the Islamic Republic is supporting Palestine and resistance groups, Raisi noted: "We have stated many times without hesitation that supporting Palestine and resistance groups is on the agenda in the policies of the Islamic Republic. Is it possible to be indifferent to the people who are oppressed all over the world?"

Emphasizing that the occupation should be ended and the occupier should be punished and pay the prices, the president added: "The continuation of the occupation does not bring ownership nor legitimacy. Which legal system and school of law in the world accepts that continued occupation results in ownership and legitimacy?

Raisi stated: "We believe that human consciences have been awakened today and the Islamic Ummah has a very heavy duty to preserve and promote this awakening of human consciences, which was created with the blessing of the pure blood of martyrs and fighters."

The president said: "I believe that if the conditions are set, the people of the countries whose representatives are present in this conference will move towards Palestine to stand with the people of Palestine. Today, the Islamic Ummah is ready to defend Palestine. The true face of the US and the countries that support the Zionist regime must be revealed to the people of those countries and to the people of the world that they used human rights as a tactic to put pressure on Islamic countries, independent countries, and human rights have been abused as a pretext for them. 219
