Iran Press/ Iran News: "We had a virtual meeting with World Health Organization officials today and at the meeting, they praised Iran's favorable activities in the fight against Coronavirus and sought to use Iran's experiences throughout the region," the Health Minister Saeed Namaki said. The
health minister added, "Some people ask why we still have an increase in cases when we say we managed the first wave of the disease. This is because our case-finding has increased and we will see results as patients recover."
"Of course, in some provinces, patients who come to the hospital are less likely than those who recover and are discharged from the hospital, and this is a good indication of what has been done," Namaki highlighted.
"I hope to have more cooperation by April 8, when the first phase of the social distancing ends and this cooperation will have its impact in the near future," the Minister of Health noted.
