Iran Press/ Iran News: On the sideline of a video mapping of the Azadi Tower, Iran’s Foreign Ministry Spokesman Seyyed Abbas Mousavi said: "While sending financial aid to our country, China has now begun scientific cooperation with Iranian scientists to fight the Coronavirus."
He also appreciated the help of other countries to Iran in fighting the Coronavirus, stating that the World Health Organization and other organizations, along with 30 countries have helped Iran to fight against the Coronavirus.
"We thank the governments that have helped our nation as much as they could, and we hope that this devious virus will be eradicated as soon as possible and that we can help other countries as well," Mousavi added.

Saying that elimination of the Coronavirus needs global solidarity, the spokesman also noted: "As the mayor of Tehran stated, we need global solidarity to eliminate the virus, and we cannot act as a separate island in this regard."
"Disasters like the Coronavirus and terrorism around the world require global solidarity because the virus does not recognize borders, nationalities and religion and has so far affected about 200 countries," he said.
Mousavi further continued that Iranian people have declared solidarity with the government and have a message to all those who are seeking to politicize the issue because some countries initially tried to name the virus with special nicknames but when the virus entered their countries, they realized their mistake.
Referring to the fact that Iran's performance in the fight against Coronavirus is similar to that of other countries, Mousavi also stated: "According to reports received from embassies, Iran's performance has been good and some treatment measures have been taken. There will be good news soon."
"We have worked with our neighbors in this field to get rid of this virus," said the spokesman.
