Tehran (IP)- Iranian President Hassan Rouhani said at today's session of the Government's Economic Headquarters, "Today, the central bank provided a very good report on the supply of currency for medical needs and basic goods."

Iran PressIran News: Rouhani added, the second part of the report presented at the meeting today was about the customs clearance of 4 million tonnes of commodities today and are ready for clearance. Today we put in place regulations to release these goods. 

"There are also capital goods in the customs for which the decision was made," the president further noted.

Another decision was to reopening of businesses and shopping Malls after April 8, which will be formulated at the National Task Force for combating Coronavirus.

"Today we are meeting most of the country's needs for medical equipment at home. For example, a three-fourth ventilator is provided inside," Rouhani said.

"We cannot determine the exact date for the elimination of Corona. It may be the end of the year, so we have to follow the health guidelines and instructions of the health ministry and the National Task Force for Combating Coronavirus," the president concluded.

The Coronavirus was first detected in China's Wuhan in late December and has since spread across the world.
