In continuation of his meetings on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly, Iran's Minister of Foreign Affairs met and talked with foreign ministers and officials of a number of countries.

Iran PressAmerica: Iran's Foreign Minister, Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, who is on diplomatic mission in New York, met with UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres in continuation of his intensive diplomatic consultations.

Amir-Abdollahian and Guterres met on Saturday evening local time at the office of the Secretary General of the United Nations.

In another meeting, Hossein Amir-Abdollahian and Geir Pedersen, the UN Special Representative for Affairs, discussed the developments in the Middle East region and Syria.

Last Friday, Pederson participated in a meeting titled Astana Process on Syria, with the Iranian, Russian and Turkish Foreign Ministers in attendance.

Iran's Foreign Minister also met and talked with his Nicaragua's counterpart Denis Moncada, Jordan's Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi and Azerbaijan's to diploamt Jeyhun Bayramov.

Amir-Abdollahian had previously met with the Armenian Foreign Minister.
