Road Minister says:

Tehran (IP) - Minister of road and urban development said in the wake of the terrorist attack on the Saviz vessel in the Red Sea, Iran objected to the International Maritime Organization (IMO).

Iran Press/Iran News: In an interview with Iran Press News Agency on Wednesday, Mohammad Eslami said, unfortunately, there were terrorist regimes in the region perpetually carrying out terrorist attacks. 

Regretting over the supports for the attacks on the world free waterways, Eslami expressed hope that these types of measures would be ended. 

An Iranian cargo ship was slightly damaged in an explosion in the Red Sea near the coast of Djibouti yesterday, April 6, at around 6:00 AM local time which is under investigation.

"According to the coordination with the International Maritime Organization, the Saviz civilian ship docked in as a logistics station to conduct maritime security along the shipping lanes and fight against pirates in the Red Sea region and the Gulf of Aden," the Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman announced.
