Tehran (IP) – Iran's Health Ministry announced on Wednesday that 135 death cases due to COVID-19 had been registered during the past 24 hours, bringing the total death toll to 127,686.

Iran PressIran news: According to definitive laboratory findings, a total number of 6,012,408 people in the country have contracted COVID-19, and 5,643,381 of the infected people recovered.

Newly diagnosed patients with COVID-19 were 7,948 cases, out of whom 1,430 patients were hospitalized.3,616 COVID-19 patients are in intensive care units (ICU).

So far, 36,611,398 COVID-19 diagnosis tests have been conducted across Iran.

According to the latest analysis, 33 cities are red, 95 are orange, 220 are yellow, and 100 are blue zones.

So far, 55,484,337 people have received the first dose of the COVID vaccine, 40,829,657 have received the second dose, and the total number of vaccines injected in the country reached 96,628,099 doses.
