Iran’s Chief of Judiciary, Gholamhossein Mohseni-Ejei, asserted that the recent U.S.-Zionist imposed war against Iran has shattered America’s long‑held military and political dominance, describing it as one of the direct results of the confrontation led by the “Islamic Republic and the proud axis of resistance.”

During a meeting with senior members of the Supreme Judicial Council, Mohseni-Ejei declared that the recent conflict exposed the “hollow grandeur” of the United States. He said the Islamic Republic of Iran and its allies within the resistance front had “broken the false might of the criminal American regime.”

Ejei sharply criticized the behavior of the U.S. president, describing him as “foolish and wicked,” noting that Washington is now “pleading with other nations to deploy warships and troops to the Strait of Hormuz. A country that once claimed superpower status in military affairs has now fallen to humiliating begging,” which he said stemmed from “the steadfast military strength and faith of the warriors of Islam.”

The Judiciary Chief added that the “malicious enemy employed all of its hard and soft power capabilities” against Iran in the recent confrontation but “failed to achieve its sinister objectives.” He emphasized that “everything our martyred Imam (Ayatollah Ali Khamenei) predicted has come to fruition,” saying the imposed conflict turned into a regional and international one whose consequences are now reverberating across the world.

“During this war, the enemy suffered a blow—one that will be followed by further strikes so devastating they may uproot its evil existence,” Ejei said.

He also pointed to the growing power of the “resistance axis,” asserting that the world has witnessed its strength firsthand. “The Americans and Zionists thought they had neutralized Hezbollah, yet recent operations by Hezbollah fighters in the northern fronts of the occupied territories have stunned observers,” Ejei added, quoting a senior foreign official as saying they were “astonished” by Hezbollah’s military performance, having once assumed its combat capabilities were depleted.
