Iran, Afghanistan FMs discuss mutual Issues

Tehran (IP) - Mohammed Hanif Atmar Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan who is heading a high-ranking delegation to Iran, met with Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif earlier in the morning.

Iran PressIran News: During the meeting, which took place in three rounds in Tehran on Sunday, the latest developments in bilateral relations, including political, economic, security, cultural and border cooperation, Afghan citizens migrants conditions in Iran, transportation, and other topics of interest were discussed.

The document on comprehensive cooperation between the two countries was one of the topics discussed at the meeting, which was scheduled to be finalized within the next three months.

The Afghan high-ranking delegation will review the agreements that have been signed by the two countries' foreign ministers by tomorrow.
