Leader expresses condolences on demise of Ramadan Abdullah

Tehran (IP) - The Leader of the Islamic Revolution in a message extended his condolences on the demise of the late Secretary-General of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad Movement, Ramadan Abdullah, on Monday.

Iran Press/Iran news: In his message, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei offered his condolences on the passing away of Dr. Ramadan Abdullah to the Palestinian nation and to all warriors who are committed to the Palestinian cause, especially to the devoted organization "Palestinian Islamic Jihad Movement" and the family of the great Palestinian figure.

The Leader of the Revolution highlighted, "The Palestinian resistance lost a very valuable and honest element, and I hope that with the guidance and help of God, the resilient efforts of the competent successors who follow the path of the warriors, such as Fathi Shaqaqi and Ramadan Abdullah, will make up for this loss."

Ramadan Abdullah died on June 6, 2020, after a long illness, and his body was buried in the Yarmouk refugee camp in Syria, beside other late Palestinian leaders, Fathi Shaqaqi late leader of the Islamic Jihad Movement.
