Iranian company built measuring device for liquids inside tanks

Tehran (IP) - An Iranian knowledge-based company has manufactured and indigenized the multi-purpose sensor Gamma G.G. 104 to measure the contents of tanks and simultaneously measure height, density, thickness, and tonnage.

Iran PressIran news: CEO of the knowledge-based company that has manufactured this multi-purpose sensor, Reza Qolipour-Peyvandi, said that the Gamma meter is a device that converts gamma rays into measurable electrical pulses.

Regarding the use of this product, Qolipour-Peyvandi pointed to industries such as oil and petrochemicals and refining, cement and steel industries, and said: "Gama G.G. 104 applies to all industries that require non-contact measurement."

He added that since the sensor technology is in the category of nuclear technology, the Atomic Energy Organization is one of its manufacturers in the public sector and the product can be classified as an innovative technology with relatively high complexity because the design of such products requires careful consideration.
