Tehran (IP) - Iranian Health Ministry Spokesman said that in past 24 hours, 59 patients lost their lives due to Coronavirus but in 19 provinces there have no death related to COVID-19

Iran PressIran news: Head of Public Relations and Information Center of Iran's Health Ministry announced that so far, 133,521 people in the country have definitely been infected with the coronavirus, and 104,072 of total infected people have recovered.

Iran's Ministry of Health and Medical Education Spokesman Kianoush Jahanpour on Saturday, May 23 reported the latest data on the coronavirus in the country and the deaths caused by the coronavirus.

He said, "According to the definitive laboratory findings and from yesterday to May 23 in the country, 1,869 new patients with COVID-19 were diagnosed in the country and the number of patients with this disease reached 133,521."

Fortunately, 104,072 patients have recovered and have been discharged so far, Jahanpour added.

The Spokesman said, "Unfortunately, in the past 24 hours, 59 COVID-19 patients have lost their lives, and 7,359 people have lost their lives in the country to date."

He stated, "2,633 patients are in a critical condition."

Furthermore, Over the past 24 hours, no death has been reported in 19 provinces.

"So far, 781,286 COVID-19 diagnosis tests have been conducted in the country," the Health Ministry spokesman said.
