Tehran (IP) - Iran’s First Vice President stressed on more investment in the development of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) infrastructure.

Iran Press/Iran news: Iran's first vice president Eshaq Jahangiri said on the occasion of International Communication Day on Sunday that legal and social infrastructures in the post-coronavirus era must be provided based on a smart human-being. 

Jahangiri referred to the steps taken in the government upon the communication field which one of them was providing internet to rural parts of Iran for all people can enjoy the service.

He pointed to the coronavirus global pandemic and the National Information Network stressing that the national network played a significant role in the patient's screening, electronic health profile, and health and treatment process.
