Tehran (IP) - Iran’s First Vice President said every country’s driving force of the development is its labor force which is derived from the country’s education system thus investment is necessary.

Iran Press/Iran News: Congratulating Teachers Week to the Iranian teachers’ society, Iran’s First Vice President Eshaq Jahangiri said on Monday: “We are all indebted to the teachers.”

Jahangiri said that society follows the development process by educating teachers, noting that either developments or recessions of a country are influenced by the education system, because the main factor of development, which is manpower, is the fruit of the education system.

After the martyrdom of Professor Morteza Motahari, an Islamologist, scholar, and philosopher on May 1, 1979, this day has been named 'Teacher's Day' in the calendar of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
