Iran Press/Iran News: Iran's Customs spokesman Rouhollah Latifi said on Saturday that Iran's trade volume with the Eurasian Economic Union had reached 5,104,984 tons, adding that the value of these exchanges was more than $ 1.7 billion.
Noting that Iran's share of exports to the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) was about 1.3 million tons with a value of more than $0.5 million, Latifi stated that EAEU's largest export destinations to Eurasia were Russia, Armenia, and Kazakhstan, respectively.
The main export products of Iran to the Eurasian Economic Union for the past six months include fruits and vegetables, he said.
With Iran's accession to the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU), in the first step, more than 700 items of Iranian exports to Eurasian member states received tariffs reduced by more than 80 percent.
Russia, Kazakhstan, Belarus, Armenia, and Kyrgyzstan are currently five members of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU).
