Leader grants 450 million tomans aid to release unintentional crime prisoners

Tehran (IP) - The Leader of the Islamic Revolution has allocated 450 million Tomans to help the release of needy prisoners jailed for unintentional financial crimes.

Iran Press/Iran News: Simultaneously with the holding of the 33rd 'Donation Celebration' of Iran's Prisoners Relief Organization (IPRO), dedicated to helping the release of needy prisoners, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei allocated 450 million Tomans to this cause.

With the help of IPRO, the 'Donation Celebration' is held every year during the holy month of Ramadan, to help the prisoners in need, with the presence of a group of officials and philanthropists in Tehran and other cities of the country.

In order to maintain the health of the donors, this year's programs will be held in the context of the TV show and in cyberspace.

The IPRO was established in 2002 and since then it has been active to release prisoners.
