Tehran (IP) - Iran’s Judiciary Chief said tens of thousands of families of prisoners will receive supportive livelihoods packs on the order of the Leader of Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei.

Iran Press/Iran News: Seyyed Ebrahim Raisi said on Monday at the meeting of the Judiciary High Council that observing the dignity of individuals is one of the priorities of the Judiciary and is a must for all bodies of the judiciary.

Raisi stressed that imprisoned criminals should be punished, but their families must be subjected to aid.

“Today, our prisons have both security and health, but the situation of prisoners in the United States and some Western countries is worrying. They are accused of violating human rights against their people,” the Judiciary Chief noted.

Mostazafan Foundation of the Islamic Revolution is assigned to provide aid to the families of the prisoners.
