Tehran (IP) - Iran’s Foreign Ministry Spokesman reported the return of a group of Bahrainis to their countries by Oman’s cooperation.

Iran PressIran News: Iran's Foreign Ministry spokesman Seyyed Abbas Mousavi said on Sunday that the return of a significant number of the Bahraini nationals who had traveled Iran for touring and pilgrimage was slowed down due to the outbreak of Coronavirus.

Mousavi added that after the outbreak of the Coronavirus, Tehran announced that it is ready to issue an air permit to the nationals of any country present in Iran to return to their country.

“Unfortunately, the Bahraini government is one of those states that has shown it does not respect the health and dignity of its citizens in such incidents as the outbreak of the Coronavirus,” he asserted, emphasizing that Bahrain must hold itself accountable to its nationals.

About 2,000 Bahraini citizens who had come to Iran before the Coronavirus spread faced with the refrainment of the Bahraini authorities to let them enter their country.
