Iran Press/Iran news: In a message commemorating the birthday of the third Shia Imam, Imam Hussein (AS) and Iran's Revolutionary Guards Corps' Day, the Chief of Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces Major General Mohammad Bagheri said that the strategic authority and influence of Iran’s IRGC is the cause of anger, humiliation and isolation of the US and our enemies.
In a message addressed to the Commander of Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) Major General Hossein Salami, Major General Bagheri said, “Today's generation of the Islamic Revolution Guard Corps inherits the experience of 40 years of martyrdom and the sacrifices of its founders, pioneers, and early generations.”
According to his message, amid severe, dark, and obscure crises, Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps have created the progress and aspirations of the Iranian nation so that its effects are now evident in the Iranian rights, resistance, and arrogance in the international arena.
Major General Bagheri also stated,” The Islamic Revolution is now witnessing the rise of resistance and flames of anger against the Zionist regime and especially the raising of the flag of a fight against the US everywhere in the world.”
In the Islamic Republic of Iran, the third of Sha'ban (tomorrow) which is the birthday of Imam Hussein (AS) is celebrated as the Day of “Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps”.
