Tehran (IP)- The spokesman of the Ministry of Health Kianoosh Jahanpoor dismissed the unfounded allegation made by the US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo over the rejection of Doctors Without Borders' help by Iran.

Iran PressIran News: Answering Iran Press question via video conference on Thursday, Kianoosh Jahanpoor noted: "We do not expect the US Secretary of State tells the truth. We must seek the truth.  Iran has not dismissed the French medical group including a doctor and field hospital and six others."

"We know what to do in this regard and embrace the help made by the Doctors Without Borders. The group's services are directed for foreign nationals grappling with the Coronavirus. There is no room to dismiss them. The French group has a visa and they are warmly welcomed," Jahanpoor said. 104/207
