Tehran (IP) - Mahmoud Reza Peyravi, secretary-general of the Iranian Red Crescent Society said that IRCS is to finalized rehabilitation centers with the capacity of 2’400 beds across the country.

Iran Press/Iran news: Peyravi in an exclusive interview with Iran Press News Agency said Iranian Red Crescent Society committed to construct rehabilitation centers with the capacity of 2’400 beds across the country for recovered Covid-19 patients and 50% of the work had been done.

IRCS secretary-general noted that 50% of the unfinished centers would be finalized soon and added that if needed additional centers will be constructed across the country.

Peyravi said Iranian Red Crescent Society has been involved as a member of the Coronavirus National Headquarters and has been active in producing masks, gowns and sanitizer products along with producing blankets and tents.

Speaking on the sideline of a visit to the Red Crescent Textile Factory, ِPeyravi added, "The factory used to produce blankets and tents, but nowadays it has added a mask and medical gown production line."

The secretary-general of the Iranian Red Crescent Society said that the Red Crescent plant has a daily production capacity of 5,000 to 8,000 masks and 7000 to 8,000 gowns, which will be used for the country's health and medical staff.
