Kerman (IP) - Tasu'a mourning ceremony kicks off in Kerman, southeast of Iran.
This day is devoted to Abbas ibn Ali, Imam Hussein's half-brother, because of his bravery in the battle of Karbala.
Shia Muslims hold ceremonies every year in the month of Muharram to mourn the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Hussein (PBUH) and his faithful companions.
