Tehran (IP) - In a conference, Iran’s Ministry of Education honored the noble school students who had accomplishments in Quranic and scientific Olympiads.

Iran PressIran news: The conference was held on Thursday in Tehran, attended by the Minister of Education Yousef Noori and the President of the Academy of Persian Language and Literature, Gholam-Ali Haddad Adel.

Noori said in a speech that such honorable students and the schools nurturing them were owed their achievements to the support of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution. 

“SAMPAD schools, which accommodate astute students, are the third generation of schools where the student selects their research event and grows up,” Noori said, stressing that all schools in Iran must turn into SAMPAD third-generation schools.

National Organization for Development of Exceptional Talents is an organization in Iran that is aimed to provide a unique educational environment for exceptionally talented students.

He then highlighted the scientific Olympiads as the events preparing the grounds for developmental and fundamental research in Iran, and the selected students for their research and innovations would pave the way for the development of the country.   

At the ceremony, Yousef Nouri, Minister of Education, and Haddad Adel, President of the Iranian Academy of Persian Language and Literature, presented medals to the winners of the Scientific Olympiads, the National Quran Congress, and Khwarizmi International Award.
