Iran gets memberhip of FIS' Development Programme

The head of the Ski and Winter Sports Federation of Iran became a Working Group member for the Development Program of the International Ski Federation (FIS).

Iran PressEurope: The head of the International Ski Federation (FIS), Johan Eliasch, appointed the head of Iran's Ski Federation Abbas Nazarian as a Working Group member for the Development Program of FIS.

This is the first time an Iranian has become an immediate member of the international organization.

The Ski Development Program (SDP) members are directly appointed by the head of FIS and are supposed to present a series of programs and strategies, including holding training camps, developing the relevant infrastructure, sending instructors to various courses.

The Netherlands, Russia, Denmark, Serbia, Portugal, South Korea, Argentina, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kazakhstan, and South Africa are other working groups.
