During the phone call, Amir-Abdollahian expounded on Iran’s positions on bilateral ties and regional developments.

The top Cypriot diplomat, in turn, dismissed as unacceptable Israel’s attack on Iran’s diplomatic premises and called for action to ease tensions.

He also underscored the necessity of expediting the dispatch of humanitarian aid to Gaza, expressing hope the adoption of proper decisions will result in a solution to de-escalate the situation.
