Tehran (IP) - Iran's Health Ministry spokeswoman announced that 2,261,435 people in the country had been infected with the coronavirus, and 1,797,316 recovered.

Iran PressIran News: "According to definitive laboratory findings from yesterday to March 23, 2021, newly diagnosed patients with COVID-19 were 24,346 cases out of whom 3,901 patients were hospitalized," Sima Sadat Lari stated. 

She noted that in the past 24 hours, 398 COVID-19 patients had lost their lives, bringing the total death toll to 67,130. 

4,843 COVID-19 patients are in critical condition, according to the spokeswoman. 

"So far, 14,500,519 COVID-19 diagnosis tests have been conducted across the country," the Health Ministry spokeswoman pointed. 

According to the latest analysis, 257 cities are in red, 129 are in orange, and 11 other cities are in blue zones.
