Tehran (IP) - The head of Iran-China Chamber of Commerce said that the official office of this chamber will be opened in Shanghai next week during the visit of Iran's Minister of Economy to this country.

Iran PressIran News: In the past years, Iran and China have expanded their relations in three macro levels: "politico-economic", "security-defense" and "geopolitical-strategic", and the signing of the 25-year strategic document was an important step towards completing this process.

Majidreza Hariri, Head of the Iran-China Chamber of Commerce, referring to the opening of the Iran-China Chamber of Commerce in Shanghai, said: "The opening of this office will have the status of a permanent exhibition of Iranian goods in China, which can be an important step in developing exports to the country."

Stating that one of our main challenges in exporting to China is the low variety of export products, Hariri explained: "According to official statistics, about 30% of Iran's total non-oil exports go to China, but in the same statistics, about 90% of exports are oil-based or mineral goods, and only 10% of our exports to China are other goods. One of our main goals in setting up this office and permanent exhibition is to develop the export of these goods."

The head of the Iran-China Chamber of Commerce pointed out the continuous presence of Iranian companies in Chinese exhibitions and said: "In the past months and weeks, the Iran-China Chamber of Commerce has made preparations for the presence of a large number of Iranian companies in Chinese exhibitions, and this process will continue until the end of this year."
