Iran Press/Iran news: Alireza Kazemi, Iran’s Minister of Education, met with Tajikistan’s Ambassador to Tehran, Nizomiddin Zohidi, on Sunday to discuss the deep cultural and historical ties between the two countries. “Our strongest bond is the Persian language, though we also share connections in culture, history, and traditions,” Kazemi noted, emphasizing the profound ties between the nations.
Kazemi expressed satisfaction with the presence of Tajik Persian-speaking students in Iran, assuring that the Ministry of Education is committed to providing them with necessary educational services. “Any concerns or issues in this regard will be promptly addressed,” he added.
The minister also proposed establishing a joint committee comprising representatives from Iran’s Ministry of Education and Tajikistan to resolve legal issues surrounding the Rudaki School project in Tajikistan. “This committee will ensure that challenges are resolved through mutual understanding and cooperation,” he stated.
Ambassador Zohidi, highlighted shared values, including culture, history, and religion, as the foundation of enduring relations between Iran and Tajikistan. “These commonalities and cultural achievements will continue to bind us,” he said.
He further pointed out the unprecedented growth in cooperation between the two nations in recent years. However, he acknowledged challenges facing the Rudaki School in Tajikistan, including issues related to ownership, curriculum, and management. Zahidi urged swift resolution to these problems to facilitate the school’s opening.
