Cooperation in the Deir dam development plan, health, welfare, and live trade, the executive plan of cultural cooperation until the end of 1405 (Iranian calendar), and the executive plan of sports cooperation until 2026 were among the most important cooperation documents between the two countries, which were signed by the ministers of energy, foreign affairs, and sports and youth, with their Qatari counterparts.

In his two-day visit which is at the official invitation of Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, the Emir of Qatar, Pezeshkian will also participate in a meeting of high-ranking Iranian and Qatari delegations and the signing ceremony of cooperation documents.

On the second day of this trip, he will give a speech at the 19th meeting of the ACD and will meet with some leaders and officials of the countries participating in the event.

Speaking to the reporters in Mehrabad Pavilion before his departure, Pezeshkian said: "We will pursue two goals in this trip; The first goal will be a dialogue with the Qatari government regarding interactions and signing of understandings and cooperation. At the Asian Cooperation Forum, we will discuss the critical situation in the region and Israel's crimes and non-compliance with international laws and targeting innocent people. If the Zionist regime does not stop its crimes, it will face harsher reactions."
