Iran Press/Europe: Russian President Vladimir Putin welcomed Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian on his first visit to Moscow since taking office.
Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian, in a meeting with the President of Russia, stated that relations within the region and between the two countries is progressively improving each day. Additionally, he highlighted the advancement of trade, cultural, and economic processes, emphasizing their strengthening foundation.
The President characterized the implementation process of the Iran-Russia agreement to construct a new nuclear power plant in Iran as positive, stating, "New agreements in this area were also finalized today and are set to be put into action. We have endeavored to eliminate all barriers to enhancing our relations."
Pezeshkian highlighted the imminent signing of the Comprehensive Strategic Agreement between Iran and Russia, emphasizing that years of expert collaboration have led to this milestone.
He stated, "Through this agreement, both nations can bolster and enrich their ties across economic, cultural, commercial, and security domains."
Iran's President, "We have removed all the obstacles that may arise from our side in the agreements that were previously made. We are determined to implement and enforce all those agreements."
In his part, the Russian President Vladimir Putin said, "The new Russia-Iran agreement will give greater momentum to all areas of cooperation between the two countries."
