Iran Press/Asia: According to the Iran Press Agency from New Delhi, the Indian authorities are urging citizens to leave Syria as soon as possible via available flights and prioritize their safety.
the Indian Ministry of External Affairs in a statement also advised its citizens to refrain from traveling to Syria until further notice and also called on its citizens who are currently in the country to leave Syria as soon as possible.
Syria has been embroiled in foreign-sponsored conflict since March 2011, with the Syrian government accusing Western nations and their regional allies of supporting terrorist factions to destabilize the country.
On November 27, the Hayat Tahrir al-Sham armed group launched a significant offensive in Aleppo and Idlib provinces, capturing several areas. Since then, Syrian government forces have engaged in intense clashes to reclaim lost territory.
