Hezbollah announced that it has launched a missile strike targeting a Zionist military base in southern Haifa, as part of its "Khaybar" operations, killing at least 4 and 40 other injured.

Iran Press/ West Asia:  Hezbollah stated that the attack on the "Tira al-Karmel" military base is in retaliation for ongoing Israeli strikes and the killing of civilians by Israeli forces.

Hezbollah also confirmed a separate artillery attack on the positions of occupying forces at the "Misgav Am" military base.

In another brief statement, the Islamic Resistance of Lebanon declared that clashes with Israeli forces in the western part of the village of Aita al-Shaab are still ongoing.

Hezbollah also noted that a missile was fired at military equipment and occupying soldiers stationed at the "Zar'it" military base. The Islamic Resistance fighters further destroyed an Israeli tank south of the village of al-Qouzah, using a guided missile, which resulted in the vehicle catching fire and causing multiple casualties among its occupants.

Hezbollah's operations have also expanded to target gatherings of Israeli forces around the Khaleh Wardah, Shomaira, and Kanaan hill bases near the village of Blida with rocket and artillery strikes.

The Israeli army launched heavy bombardments on various regions in southern Lebanon on Monday, October 2, and these attacks are still ongoing. According to Lebanon's Ministry of Health, the strikes have so far resulted in hundreds of deaths and thousands of injuries.

Hezbollah's retaliation has reportedly caused panic among Israeli civilians, leading to the suspension of all educational activities in Haifa. Residents of nearby settlements have been instructed to take shelter in bunkers.
