Tehran (IP) - In a joint meeting of the foreign ministers of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) and the Arab League, Kazem Gharibabadi, Iran's Deputy Foreign Minister for Legal and International Affairs, called for decisive action against Israel, urging the United Nations to expel the “criminal regime” and to impose a complete arms embargo.

Iran Press/Iran News: Gharibabadi condemned the recent developments in Gaza and Lebanon, calling them "a disgrace for humanity" and "an additional injustice against a nation that has been deprived of its basic rights under occupation and aggression for more than seven decades."

"The Zionist regime, as the illegitimate child of the West, has been shielded from accountability and responsibility," he stated, adding that the Palestinian people "have the legitimate right to defend and resist against occupation and aggression." Gharibabadi emphasized that Palestinians do not need permission from any party to exercise this inherent right.

Ghareebabadi also highlighted urgent actions that must be taken: an immediate ceasefire in Palestine and Lebanon, the opening of humanitarian corridors, the release of all Palestinian prisoners, the dignified return of refugees to their homeland, and the delivery of international aid to begin the reconstruction of Gaza.
