Iran Press/Europe :On the evening of Thursday, July 11, Deputy Speaker of the Armenian Parliament, Ruben Rubinyan, met and talked with the Speaker of the Iran's Parlaiment , Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf, on the sidelines of BRICS heads of parliaments Summit.

Ghalibaf, while appreciating Armenia for expressing sympathy with Iran on the martyrdom of President Raisi, said:

"In the recent visit of the President of Armenia to Iran and the recent meeting with the Supreme Leader, the development of communication and cooperation between the two countries was emphasized."

Also, Deputy Speaker of the Armenian Parliament, Ruben Rubinyan while expressing his condolences for the tragic martyrdom of President Raisi, said: "I thank you, the authorities and the people of Iran for supporting Armenia regarding the territorial integrity and sovereignty of our country. Iran's position on the issue of Armenia is based on principles that are inviolable."

Emphasizing that in Iran, Armenians have the most protected society in the whole world, he said: "We need to develop economic relations between the two countries. Due to the presence of Iran, we are eager to use the 3+3 format to resolve regional issues."
