On the sidelines of the meeting of the Non-Aligned Movement’s foreign ministers in the Republic of Azerbaijan, Iran’s Minister of Foreign Affairs met with the Palestinian delegation.

Iran press/ Asia: Hossein Amir-Abdollahian strongly condemned the air and ground onslaught by the murderous and occupying Zionist army against the Jenin Refugee Camp in the West Bank in recent days.

He urged the international community, especially the UN, to take urgent and effective measures that would be appropriate for dealing with such inhumane behaviors of the Zionist regime.

Amir-Abdollahian described the relationship with the Fatah movement as one with a long history.

He said, " Iran considers its seriousness in supporting the resistance and unity of the ranks of Palestinian groups against the atrocities of the Zionist regime as an inevitable necessity in order to realize the rights of the Palestinian people."

For his part, Palestinian delegation head Riyadh al-Maliki noted that the Zionist regime has no red lines when it comes to using all its power and weapons in order to attack the innocent people of Palestine. He added that the regime commits crimes against Palestinians with no limitation. Maliki also said if such events happen anywhere else in the world, they will be met with a firm international response, but Palestinians are an exception in this regard.

Maliki has attended the NAM meeting as the Palestinian foreign minister.
